Odour purification Export slaughterhouse

In order to limit the odour nuisance to the environment as much as possible around the Tielt Export slaughterhouse, the discharge and waiting area was equipped with four large exhaust fans and a biological air purification system.  This innovative technology was developed and built by CBgroep in their Staden workshop.  The customization for a seamless connection with the existing building ensures this unique form of air scrubber.  The fans and corresponding inverters were built into the air purification units.  Due to lack of space, the complete system was placed on the roof.  Twenty parameters are forwarded per hour to the decentralized data server “PASmonitor”.  In order to avoid downtime and technical interventions, the installation is subject to an administrative and technical audit several times a year via a follow-up and sampling contract. This is carried out by acknowledged samplers from the specialized company MIRCON.
